OT - SPAM filtering

Hi all,
I've recently started to get an increase in the amount of spam emails
and want to filter stuff out simply. I'm using outlook which may not be
the best but from the families point of view it's common, can anyone
recommend software which can integrate with outlook which can filter out
stuff based on rules I can create, preferably free.
