Err - yaas.
If all your stuff is close together, and you are only sending one to
many (ie there is no question of going many to one in the opposite
direction) you can just literally parallel up several RXD pins to
the senders TXD pin, and it works fine.
Harder solutions include broadcast boxes, available from (amongst
others, no doubt) Black Box, which have one input and several
outputs.
You can also do it using a collection of terminal servers (note not
Windows Terminal Services :-) using UDP broadcast, which gives you a
distance connectivity advantage. Using UDP forwarding you can span
the globe this way...
Or if all the applications are in a single Windows/XP computer, you
can use virtual serial ports, see
