They did something similar on the last series of Brainiac: Science Abuse
(Sky One): helium-filled ballons in a parcel. It ended up costing them far
more than it saved, but it was a laugh and filled the slot between 'can you
walk on custard?' and 'what happens when you put a gas-filled balloon with
a
teaspoon cellotaped to it in a microwave'...*

Now that's my kind of science. New series started this week. :-)
