I heard somewhere (forget where now) that some plasmas are slow to update,
meaning audio sync problems when routing the sound through external AV
equipment.

Is that really that case, or is it something that only affects el-cheapo
brands?

Perhaps some plasma owners could enlighten me...

Mal

Whilst looking around on the web this afternoon, I saw tiny.com are
selling plasma's at mucho cheapo price

Although, my knowledge of plasma screens is somewhat limited so I'm not
sure if they're any good or not.

Jonathan.

I've currently got a 47" Panasonic RP TV (and a Panasonic AE100) and
was
formulating a plan to replace the RP TV with a 50' Plasma. The only
problem
being the cost!. These new Optima RP Tvs appear to fit the bill and at
only
£1999 for the 50" version, they could be classified a bargain (TM
