No batteries ,they leech power from the switchwire.......

They say 15 to 29 metres ..but of course depends on the installation....No
mention of leap frogging...

Good question although i would have thought the UK retrofit market would be
larger than Oz so it shouldnt be too long...Gives you more time to save up
;-))
