OT: Printer setup (HP Laserjet 4)

Quick question for all you network gurus out there.

I recently picked up a second hand Laserjet 4M printer dirt cheap (I
swapped it for a 16-port 10BaseT hub!)

It's working fine, except....

Is there any way to make it automatically print all documents on the
available A4 paper, rather than saying "Load Letter" EACH PAGE,
and
waiting till I hit SHIFT-CONTINUE on the printer front panel.

I've just printed a 71 page document and discovered that about 20 of
those pages were Letter size (had been copied and pasted from other
documents, presumably), and the rest were A4, and I've needed to hover
over the printer for the last 20 minutes hitting the flipping
SHIFT-CONTINUE button at odd intervals.

Mark
