Ideally you wouldn't require a TV for choosing MP3s, nor the need to crawl
on your hands and knees to choose from a built in display.

If I could magic up the perfect controller, it would be a handheld tablet
of
some description - something maybe two or three times the size of  regular
PDA - like those Star Trek notepads ;-).  That should give enough screen
space to be legible.  And I don't want control to be via a web browser with
each device serving up it's menu pages - it may work, and in a standard
way,
but that kind of menu system always feels clunky and slow (as the screen
redraws everytime you select something).  The device really needs to be
running a client-side application.

Oh, and it must cost <£100 ;-)

In the meantime, I'm working on the wireless PDA approach...
