Hi All
Just got back from the cbus wireless launch....and it was quite
enjoyable evening ..Clipsal decided to have a Different type of launch and
it certainly was....There was also other cbus products being launched and
on
display such as the DLT switches they had Saturn switches with a black
background (nice)....

Of course i made a beeline for the CBUS Muti zone amp....The main switcher
has 4 inputs and 8 output zones.....The zone amp comes in two styles (when
its released ). One with a front panel with buttons and the other without
buttons which i assume would be located in the roof space type of
application.... I believe the amps will come as 10watts stereo and aslo a
25
watt stereo.....They connect back to the main unit via cat5 as well as
being
connected to the cbus system............
Wont mention prices quoted by the rep but i was pleasanlty surprized ;-))

The colour touchscreen graphics look really clear................

Had a quick at the Version 3 software and it sure looks a big improvement
on
the version 2 ....

There was also a brochure available with specs on the new products and it
looks like they are going to launch a 2 zone ir system......

They had a special price for a rf remote and a pluggable dimmer and
needless to say i couldnt pass it up ;-)).....Lovely little remote with
blue
leds ;-)).......Also got a free 64meg usb stick.......

Must say i really like the Saturn switches as im sure most architects would
......Also one rep said that next year they are bringing out a hardware
cbus
controller i suppose something that replaces Minder ..???
