I decided to use the adaware software - which got rid of the spyware and a
bit more that NoAdware had failed to find and I am now trying firefox.

I suggest getting WindowsXP ServicePack2 installed. You can then view any
ADD-ONS that have creaped their way into internet explorer..


If you don't like the idea of service pack 2 then get  a trial of this...
it
will do the same job and more..
