Hi Keith,

Yeah, I'm going to do that as well (eventually) - I made sure to run a
serial cable to the panel when I installed it...

However, I'm trying to make a Pronto button that does everything from
one press, and if I can do it all by IR then I don't have to go outside
of the Pronto & use any external mechanisms...

Plus the serial cable goes to the HA PC, whilst the plasma is connected
to the VGA out on the HTPC PC.

I Plan to write a Homeseer plugin to control the panel via rs232 when I
get time...

I guess for now I can live with the "workaround" method described
before, which does at least work...
