RE: Re: [OT] Oven woes

I had a Phillips microwave... it was kind of different in that the antennae
moved, rather than having a revolving plate on which you set your food. It
was going strong at 9 years when the 3 door kitchen cupboard decided to
leap
off the wall, only stopping on its way down to crash into the TV &
microwave
that were sitting on the worktop below the cupboard.

I was away at the time & got a distressed phone call from my wife who
had
just walked past the cupboard, caught something moving out of the corner of
her eye & turned to see the crockery, glasses, tins etc flying out of
the
cupboard shelves towards her. It was a bit of a shock for her. To hear
her
tell the story, makes you think of something out of Stephen King.

Anyway, the microwave looked OK, but we decided to replace it anyway
because
I didn't know what damage had been done internally. (TV tube was OK, but
case was badly cracked, so we had to replace that as well).

I'll back that up - Got a Panny Dimension 4 - been running perfectly
for 7 years without a single problem.
