Hi James
If Girder can also talk to a serial port  i could probably
make  up a box so you can use the tx and rx zoning of FirM.....I have done
this with xPL and it works quite well...It means to tx to a zone a serial
message is sent out first to set up the FirM Tx zone before txing a signal
and for receive it means requesting the zone info serially when ever ir is
received ....
