You'll find they work fine if you switch WEP off.
Of course, you may not want to do this...
I had a pair of these connecting my home and office a while ago, and
what I ended up doing was accepting that WEP didnt work, so for
security I used a pair of Vigor 2300s to put a secure VPN across the
insecure WAP11 bridge.
