In my younger days when I lodged with a mate in Farnham and we basically
lived the "Men Behaving Badly" lifestyle I turned up at home one
evening
with a very large CRT projector...

...as you would expect, my "landlord" was horrified (yeah,
right!) and
within about an hour - once we had verified that the damn thing actually
worked - we had cut out the outline of the "screen" in the
wallpaper in the
back room, had pulled off the top layer of the wallpaper and were watching
TV projected onto the white lining paper.

At that time we were "enjoying the occasional company" of a
couple of scouse
birds from Skelmersdale and they came down to see us some weekends. A
screening of "Terminator" was suggested and we all went and
settled down in
the back room to watch the film - girlies in the middle of the sofa and me
and my landlord (also called Phil) on opposite ends of the sofa. At a
prearranged point in the movie Phil and I both reached down beside the sofa
(remember this is a darkened room), picked up a couple of paint-ball guns
that we had secreted earlier, and hammered a couple of dozen
"rounds" into
Arnie. :-)

Of course there was also the blowing up cans of rice pudding, the home-made
explosives into the PC that p*ssed us off because we couldn't get it
reliable and the Stonehenge of cars...

...oh and I almost forgot about the neighbour letting us know that at night
he could see the light from our loft light that we had obviously forgotten
that we had left on ;-) ... And getting shot in the ass with fireworks ...
And the 1/2hp air raid siren that we tried using for a doorbell ... Oh, and
the traffic light that we had rigged up outside the bathroom because we
couldn't be bothered to fit a lock on the door.

;-)

Phil
