Subject: [ukha_d] HA faux pas
Finally completed on our house purchase. Only problem is that the
purchase on the nice house that needed stripping back to the brickwork
and re-wiring/plastering/flood-wiring leaving it ripe for plenty of
HAing fell through.
We've ended up blowing nearly the entire house budget on a different
house. This one's in farily good shape, doesn't need re-wiring, or even
re-decorating mostly, and is going to be rather more difficult to
automate :-( Bah.
I'll have to make do with flood-wiring in small spurts, adding the fun
stuff in a bit at a time as we go along.
There still might be scope for turning a bit of the attached garage into
Node0 though. But that will have to wait as first we have to get the
asbestos roof replaced!
Ho hum. Plenty more time to plan it all I suppose...
Jim
