The Millenium Hilton there is great, we were there last Christmas on the
52nd floor.
Fantastic views over the river - WTC site was very quiet and the huge area
it covers
certainly makes you reflect. For the geeks (me included!) in-room broadband
LAN is
useful ;-)

My top tips are :
Empire State at night.
Book tickets for Statue of Liberty online (http://www.nps.gov/stli/) before
leaving UK.
A visit to SoHo.
Times Square at night - full of tourists but gotta be seen (inc the BIG
ToysRus there!)
Ice Skating in Central Park.
Macys.
Walking over Brooklyn Bridge.

Enjoy! We are off to NYC for New Years - cant wait :-)
