No really what you wanted as this is an un-recommendation. I would not go
for the cheap Ferm one from Screwfix. A couple of people on the selfbuild
list have used them and had problems. I do know that Axminster do a cheap
one (www.axminster.co.uk), however I have no direct experience of it (good
company however). If you want to do any chiselling you will need a drill
with a roto-stop on it. This is very usefully for creating channels or
larger holes in walls.
