www.doom9.org has the all info you could need

Download Gordian Knot rip and codec packs to give you all the tools to
do the job.

Robot4-Rip to rip the DVD - then Gordian Knot to actually Encode.

AutoGK (auto Gordian Knot) makes ther encode even easier - with the loss
of some flexibilty.

I have "several" Gig of films done this way now that get played
via the
Xboc
+ XBMC

Hi all

Can anyone recommend some software that can do this conversion for me.
Want to convert some of the Kids DVDs to put on my new MP3/Video
player,
something to keep the little ********* quiet while i enjoy a rest !!
The player has 40Gb so i'm hoping i can cram a few in there. I 'm also
looking at setting up Windows Media centre in the new year so i guess
this would all be compatible.
