Help on ITX XP upgrade

I decided to upgrade one of my W2K ITX boxes to XP.

Problem is when it starts installing the drivers it asks me for
viaide.sys but when I point it at the copy in system32/drivers the
installation just hangs.  So I've now got a half installed operating
systems.

Any helpful pointer would be good.
