A video recorder is a device used by poor souls like me without a TiVO
(prods Ken) although, my video recorder never actually gets to record
anything at all, it's simply used as a format changer (Dutch PAL -> UK
PAL) since my TV is from the UK.. it cost me the equivalent of about 50
quid, there is no lifetime subscription with a video recorder. It does have
one advantage though. It takes it's time from teletext (from the first
channel) which means there's always one clock that's right in the house :F
