Netgem...

Need to replace the old Pace OnDigital receiver and have been looking at
both the Netgem iPlayer (which I know a lot of you went
"UKHA_nuts" over a
few months ago) or the Mustek Freeview receiver (thats on ebuyer).

Reason for this (very) short-list is that these two STB's are the only ones
that I know of that can produce a component video output. (I have a Sharp
32" LCD TV on order with component video inputs and a very very
delicious
Pioneer AX10 AV amp with component video switching sitting here in the
lounge doing its best to keep the room warm on its own.)

Now, the Mustek has the advantage of being able to be set to not only
output
component video but also *PROGRESSIVE* component video (which is handy) and
it has a digital audio out (which is also handy) but unfortunately TiVo
doesn't list "Mustek" in the supported receivers (which is a bit
of a bugger
given that's what I need to use it on for now) - maybe I need to call the
support number for TiVo and see if anyone:

1) Is there still.
2) Knows their arse from their elbow and can help.

Of course I could get the NetGem as that *IS* listed in the supported IR
codes section of TiVo but I don't know whether that unit has a digital
audio
out on it .... Does it?

Phil
