Have ordered the pager as highlighted by a previous reply, so will be
fitting that.

It's no bl**dy good to them without the electronic enable key, but
they don't care.

They did 8 cars in the street that I know of, bent the top of the
doors and hooked the lock pins, so they were relatively silent, and
avoided anything that looked like it might have an alarm.

I had not fitted an alarm to the wife car, as you kind of think no
one is going to steal a stereo without the faceplate, but that is my
fault I suppose.

They took anything of any value from the cars, including clothes and
handwash etc.

The most annoying aspect is that they left a 6 inch lock knife in the
wifes car on the floor pan, so now she is terrified. Even worse I am
working away most of the time right now.

Of course the problem is, if you do catch them you have to go in hard
and fast or they might get a chance to stab you, and then you will
end up in court.

Still not as bad as my parents situation, 16K of caravan stolen from
outside their house with a silent nibbler through a wheel shoe and a
hitch boot.

Assessor says they are waltzing through customs to Ireland as there
is a hands off approach right now.

Grrrr.
