Really? Doh! I'm sure last time I tried it told me that "this iPod is
not
configured for this iTunes" it then busily formats it for that copy.
Perhaps the "manual" sync option is the key?

I really must pay more attention in class :-)

It is possible and works OK, however you cannot copy from the Ipod to the
PC

with itunes.

I elect to manual sync.

There are many apps that enable Ipod-PC transfer.
