The two games that concern me that they've asked for are Sims 2 and Rome

rs (I think!?). Sims 2 in particular seems to be pretty tempremental wrt

raphics cards. According to the Maxis site though the cards they currently

have are compatible.
The machines they have are both identical 600mhz P3s with 256mb mem, 80gb

DD and 128mb NVidia Geforce 2 video cards. Other than screen, keyboard,

use and speakers I suspect there's not really much salvagable from this.
The =C2=A3300 limit is their limit - as someone else suggested it's their

avings that will buy the new PC - we'll buy the games!
