An "expensive" solution would be one of the Xantech in-wall
controllers
which are self contained learning devises (Effectively an in-wall remote)
just wire it back to a cheapo IR controllable amp? The Xantech pads will
probably also quite happily piggy back your Kustom kit if the Kustom stuff
is just a smart IR router like the MRC44 and 88's.
They do a nice waterproof one too called the waterpad :-)

I think Mr Harrison has some funky control where when the lights in his
on-suite are activated an amp switches on to run his on-suite speakers?
Many thanks,
Rob

Subject: [ukha_d] Bathroom audio control
I've got a Kustom whole house audio controller and amp which has been
working nicely for a couple of years now. I've never gotten round to
fitting
a speaker in the bathroom although I've got one for the job. Trouble is, I
don't have a controller. The bathroom is actually an en-suite from the main
bedroom. The main bedroom has a Kustom wall controller and speakers - I
think I'd slave the bathroom off of the main bedroom amp output. I have two
possible solutions I think:
1. Connect the speakers into the existing setup using some kind of
speaker splitter/amplifier
2. Use the audio line out from the amplifier zone and add an amplifier
specifically for the bathroom. I'd also need some kind of in-wall
controller
suitable for a bathroom (with source select, vol control etc).
Any ideas as to what products could do either of these?
Thanks,
Paul.
