I have used a program called WinAVI (www.winavi.com) to do exactly this.
Dosen't do fancy menus etc but just select 'mpg>DVD' select your source
file
and click go. Will even burn it to disk for you if you want.

Can someone out there give me a definitive way of converting an mpeg
movie to a VOB format so that I can burn it to a DVD for use?
