Yes.
It's simple enough to resolve; just use a plug-in timeswitch for the STB.
Use an electronic one with battery backup, because a mechanical one will
drift if you have a powercut. Mine's set to switch off for 5 minutes at
around 4:00 AM and it's been completely reliable since I set it up some
months ago.
