...and another vote for iPod.

I don't think the choice is as clear cut as it used to be, I think the best
thing to do is to actually try the ones on your shortlist.
I always used to buy for features and specification, but I've been through
=
a
few of the early mp3 players and the interface was so appalling that I
seemed to spend more time trying to work out ways of overcoming the
interface limitations than actually just using the thing :-S

I've not tried the new breed of players apart from the iPod which I find so
easy to use that I don't even need to think about it, which is just how it
should be !

Yeah, I'd certainly chuck in another vote for iPod. It's the only Apple
ki=
t
I own, but it really is good, only downside is the relatively low battery
life, at around 8 hrs max. If you're going on holiday to the US, buy it
there, you'll save at least =A370-80on the UK price, though unless you
take=
a
laptop with you you'll not be able to use it until you get home.

Ive just bought an ipod mini...... having bought my girl one I bought one
too. Absolute quality indeed.

I also have a 128mb creative muvo too, the apple is well put together
and the menu is great - I think it shares the same intuitive
methodologies as the nokia phones - easy to use... and it 'just works'

Just my 2p worth, no affiliation or anything, just well happy.

Hi All,

With holidays fast approaching i'm looking to take my MP3 collection
with me. I know lots of us here use MP3 players etc. So where better to
ask the question ?

I seen the iriver 340 which looks nice, anybody have any particular
experience or suggestions of other good players ? I'm looking to blow
about =A3300 - =A3400 on this new toy.

Cheers
Martin
