Well, mines not touchscreen, and it certainly didn't cost 1500quid, but
definitely the biggest gadget hit with SWMBO

Its a PIII 733, off eBay for about 80 quid, with a Keycorp 12.1 tft off
eBay
for about 50 quid.

I also got one of the tiny remotes http://tinyurl.com/7xkt2 for it, and
that's another great asset. SWMBO started off saying "what do we need
a
computer remote control for?" - but now she's completely sold
