Hi Paul

Cant comment on this as i havent done the course , although if not a
sparkie
and you can afford it i would do it ,as i believe you also get some cbus
kit thown in........

Bus couplers are supposed to be within 1metre of the switch.....if long
runs then use aux inputs....
others may comment if used bus couplers on runs longer than a metre...

However, I *really* want to get some of those Saturn switches

If you have wired all lights back to x10 dim modules then there should be
no
problem just dropping in a cbus dimmer module...............

If you have locations where you havent rewired back to din modules then
when
available you can install the wireless Saturns ;-))...these had 1 or
dimmers
built in rated at 2amps and you can have 2 ,4,6 gang.......The wirelss
Saturns just replace the existing switch no neutral required....Also you
can
then purchase the wireless Gateway and that allows you to be able to
control
kit from the cbus wired network to the cbus wirless network and vice versa
;-))..........Also Paul you can get wireless plugin appliance modules and
plugin dimmer modules ...and the rf remote is Sexy ;-))

If using xAP then Kevins Cbus module springs to mind...........and of
course
Comfort can talk cbus i believe ???

Anything wired back to x10 dimmers can go onto dimmers Im assuming here
all
your lights are also on one circuit ...???...The stuff thats not wired back
then as mentioned above wireless might be an option here......
