I agree you get what you pay for and most of the time they are great
but my two rants are:

I have trouble when I order out of stock items. You cannot get an
expected date that the product will be in stock again. Several times I
have bought items "available within 7 days" on the product
page. I
wait three weeks, they are still out of stock, so I cancel. It seems
they can't be bothered to order out of stock items so ignore them,
hoping you will go away. When I asked when the item would be back in
stock, their system closed the enote because it had not been answered
within 21 days.

If you select the cheapest economy delivery, even if they have the
stock, it sits in the warehouse several days before they send it. If
on the day before dispatch, you change the order (add or remove
items), they reset the clock and you have to wait another so many days
before they release the stock. Come on, I've waited a week already,
why not add that extra item and send it out on the first date?
