Yeh I gave up with this in the end :

Didn't want to go dension as I was not sure about quality...

The main one I was very keen over was the Blaupunkt DAB-54 which can
playback mp3's from an MMC/SD card : very handy indeed and can also record
from DAB to MMC/SD card. I was very close to getting one but scraped the
idea due to already owning a Sony CD/MP3 changer (not sure if I made a
wise move).

As it stands now I just have a new standard Sony MP3 Headunit which
integrates with the MP3 changer but I split the AUX with a phono switch
(10quid from maplin) so that I can play my iriver at line level if I want.

Tough choice : There should be more/better mp3 coverage for car head units.
