I'd be interested in learning what aluminium cooler you're using for your
drives - mine (x2) too sit at around 42 under normal use but rise to 45-46
during something like a virus scan or backup. Still within the
manufacturers max but quite hot. A reduction to 30 is pretty impressive -
have you an URL for this product??
