sorry, forgot the "how is it set up" bit... and i'm not entirely
sure what u mean..

but here goes...

FXO card connected to pstn for incoming calls on home line routes the call
to *
and rings all the phones (you should hear the noise!) after 20 rings goes
to voicemail.
Any phone can call out pickup calls park calls or jump into a conference...
numberous funky scripts and dialplan tweaks for my own meglomaniacal(!)
desires...

Any phone can dial any fwd number by prefixing an 8
Any phone can dial using the remote telco using 6
Outside lines can be dialed with a 9 (or if the length>6 digits direct
dial)
Extensions are 4 digits except for the wierd ones I use for testing scripts
and stuff like that.

Speaking clock, alarm calls, last 10 callers that sort of stuff...

Rio control via Homevision from the phone... (just going to take a look at
the xpl replacement server)

I also have another connection to a collegues pbx but he's on a short dial
so is treated like
an extension.

Incoming calls (from my amsterdam number) are routed according to my
location automagically
(bluetooth presence - very alpha) If I'm at home they go there, if I'm at
the office they go there,
and if I seem to be nowhere they go to my mobile.

oh, and just one hint, *never ever* rely on caller id for your security..
always use an enter your pin
type IVR to supplement it...

Andy
