I've used Western Union before - easy (there are loads of agents around,
including high street travel agents) although the charge can be expensive
(it cost £25 to send $750).

Another alternative is to use Paypal to send him the money - this can be
used to send US Dollars.

There's also Moneygram, not something I've used before, but supposedly
cheaper than Western Union, and UK agents include post offices and Thomas
Cook.
