On the note of fitting pipes to the upper floors ...

A mate of mine renovated a property a while ago and
installed a central vac
... he used normal coving/cornicing/whatever you call it,
placed vertical in
the corner of the wall (where it meets the other wall ...)
skim the walls
upto the coving and it looks like a smoothed curve instead
of a right-angle
...

Don't know if that makes any sense .. but it looked sweet
... 'specially
with a few led's (good quality bulk buy from ages ago..)
placed in the floor
to up light it ...

Just a thought !

I know, it is really dragging on now,
that'll teach me for
doing silly
things like moving a wall 12 inches to the
right.

houses ??

yup, lots of mess and kangoing, but luckily
we have
suspended floor for the
ground floor, so it isn't that bad, just
like installing a
mains socket
really. The biggest problem I have is
working out how to get
the pipeworkk
to the upstairts socket, still cogitating on
that one :)

goodies........your

No, no hurry, still waiting on someone going
past your area
with spare
luggage allowance ;) If theyre getting in
your way, maybe we
could look at
posting them by surface or something?

Cheers, Des.
