Kevin - John B (one of the xPL Project Team) did indeed write the xPL
support module for the Slim Server, but it was Dean from Slim devices that
chose to integrate it into the main server natively, rather than simply
making it available as one of the many external downloadable modules.

It's a major achievement for the xPL protocol to be included in a
manufacturer's product line, and something we can rightly be proud about.

I am sure that there will be even more positive stuff to talk about after
UKHA2004 - let's stick to discussing that.
