Bear in mind, I used the ICD module to go fromthe Alpine standard protocol
to IBus - but no MP3 information is sent to the head unit - so 99 tracks
is a lot of pressing "next" for !
I heard ICD are working on this to present the MP3 information, rather
than the head unit thinking it's a big cd !

yy - my E46 (same innerds) has the SatNav and the HK DSP kit - it's ok,
but nothing fancy. You can replace the CD changer to get MP3 (did that
myself) - but anything else and you'd have to go 3rd party.

As i know there are some very clever people in this group i thought i
would try here first.
My mate has just bought a new M3 and he thinks the stereo is Cr#p.
Any pointers on best upgrades, he was advised by the dealer to not go
for the BMW upgrade and is looking for pointers on the best way to go.
Sorry for being off topic but i know the guys who know are here.
Cheers
Rob
