Hi Keith,

http://www.netlimiter.com/index.php

Maybe what you want. It allows you to limit programs. I'm using it to limit
bittorroent uploads.

I was impressed with it as it also tells me how much I have up and
downloaded.

Cost =A320.38=20

Bargain, but does have 28day trail.

Regards,

Paul

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Network Bandwidth Limiting

Hi All,

I know this has been asked before but I cant remember what the=20
solution was.

I urgently need to limit a network connection the a maximun=20
throughput of 1Mbit.

Is there an easily configurable piece of freeware or shareware (with=20
trial period) that will allow me to do this. Windows preferred but at=20
a push could be Linux.

What are the hardware requirements? presumably almost any PC but with=20
2 network cards as we want to fit this into a network to simulate a=20
limited bandwidth connection between two sites.

Thanks

Keith
