James / Ken

I've been organising a BB for equipment to be bought from RF Concepts,
namely GeoVision kit and cameras. I should have sent the list of items
to be priced a couple of days ago but didn't get round to it until now.
If you want me to hold off until tomorrow please let me know, otherwise
I'll email RF later tonight. You can always join in after I get more
definite prices back, but obviously we should get better prices if the
initial list shows the total qty's to be ordered.

Some details that I had sent round earlier are -->

* We should get around 15% of the published website prices for cameras
(but this will vary a bit depending on what camera is chosen)=20

* We should get 18% of the published website prices for GV cards (except
for the 600-6, as it is on offer ATM. It has about 7% disc)=20

* The DSP8 card should be =A3160.=20

* The LPR kit is normally only used for specific commercial installs as
the single lane kit costs between =A31.5K-=A32K, which includes the card
an=
d
software.=20

* Most GV cards are in stock. The only one ATM that we are after which
is out of stock.=20

* The GV 750=92s are being discontinued soon, but they still have the 9
and 12 camera versions in stock.=20

* RF thoroughly recommend the CC70CHSHRX Waterproof Colour IR camera (on
page 2) for nightime use. Although the site states it works up to 30m,
RF say that it works pretty good even up to 50m in total darkness.=20

* We were advised against the 27CW (on page 1 of the cam=92s) as although
a good camera, sometimes condensation built up inside. The 21CW camera
was recommended as a preferred choice of similar spec.=20=20

Please remember to state the number of cameras the GV card is to handle,
i.e. GV 650-8 or GV 650-12.

Also remember to add whatever other accessories are required such as
power supplies.

HTH

Steve

PS --- please send any offlist messages to cctv@xxxxxxx=20
