Yep, that should do the trick.
You will no doubt have to cut and solder some wires as the connection on
the fan appears to be a two pin 0.1" pitch connector and the fan
controller looks like it is a 3 pin one.
You will also need longer wires to be able to route them out the rear of
the case. Make sure all connections are either heatshrink covered or
some other suitable protection.
