Re: Automating telephones
Hi,

I have a Pace Solo external modem and I'm pretty sure it supports caller ID
- it anounces the number that's calling and, as far as I know, is supposed
to use the caller ID data to set the time on the modem.
As I have an NTL line I have never been able to test this though...!?!
There is a dedicated group on yahoo for the Pace Solo - might be worth
asking on there whether anyone has one that they're prepared to part with.
Andy.

Again BT offer this

Meteor, it is not a bad piece of kit for the price - will auto record.
Also you do not need to tell the caller they are being recorded - it is
legal as long as one party knows they are being recorded.
