Err - yep. US Robotics modems have a specific error in their .inf file
that prevents them from working properly on BT's Caller Line ID - you
can change this, however, and use a USR voice mode for caller line ID
quite easily.

Tony Tofts has written an app (xPL_Phone, which should be on display at
UKHA2004) that makes use of this information to provide caller ID to the
network, as well as a fully scriptable answerphone / home control / IVR
solution.
