I am about to ebay a Gyration Ultra Suite RF Keyboard & Mouse. Paid
about
=A390.00 for it 3 weeks ago. I find the range is good upto about 6m. I'll
let you know when the auction is running unless you want to jump in first
;-)

My main PC monitor is connected to the main PC and a PC in node 0 It's
approx 3m from the PC it's connected to in node0. I have been using VNC to
administer the remote PC, but response speed is terrible (slow PC)

any recommendations for a cheap wireless keyboard/mouse combo that would
allow me to sit at the desk 3m away and do the odd admin tasks?

ebuyer list some 27Mhz ones - but the range is <1m I can't find any
reports
on range for the cheaper Logitech ones

I haven't used that.. I tried to keep everything real simple but... :-(

I had a nightmare in the early days as Hyperthreading killed Geovision but
once it was up and running everything was fine.. I think the overheating
thing makes sense and have opened up the case and cleared the area around
the system so it can breathe.. It is stuffed under a desk at the moment
which is poor skills but I have free space issues here...=20

Have you tried the Geovision tech support people - I've found them pretty
helpful.

I wonder if the Geovision s/w settings have corrupted somehow and it's
forcing the reboot? Have you also checked the reset cable to the card -
maybe it's 'wobbly'?

Paul.
