RE: roomba opinions ?
About 20 of them were sold to list members waaaaay back before Xmas 2002.
IMHO, they're certainly not worth =A3299; sounds like an optimistic
stall-holder trying to snag the impulse buyers. Especially considering

the Roomba Pro Elite (

with tax you'd get one landed for <=A3170.
A year-and-a-half on, I think most Roomba users fall into 1 of 2 camps:=20
(a) it's sat in the corner and hasn't been used for months, or=20
(b) use it all the time and rarely get the normal vacuum out.=20=20
Shamefully, I fall into the first camp, but I'm not sure why. They do

,
and are reasonably reliable, though there have been 3 failures that I know
of from the ones that we sold, so that's nearly 10%, but these were early
models, I know that iRobot have made quite a few changes since then.

Subject: [ukha_d] roomba opinions ?
Hi all,
I remember seeing some chat about roomba robotic vacuum cleaners on this
list a while back - did anyone buy one and if so what do you think of it ?
I was at the ideal home show yesterday and finally saw one close up - still
in two minds - they were selling for =A3299 but I've seen them on eBay and
elsewhere for =A3199
Cheers
