Hi Ian,

Thanks for the offer but the only thing I don't intend to put is=20
another pc (I use one now for the purpose), I just would like a=20
rugged, hardware player - preferrably no external display (monitor or=20
tv style) for initial programming etc.=20
I also had a look into some sat receivers with HD recording just for=20
that or the new kiss 558 hd recorder - the kiss has a network=20
connection on top - but still needs a tv.

My cabling layout does not allow me to put a slimp3 in each room or=20
so because all my amps are centralised so I cannot route back the=20
audio output line level to node0 - Now I don't know enough about the=20
slimp3 if I would be able to use it as a remote display only but that=20
would sound rather expensive though....
