LAME question

It's actually about LAME (http://lame.sourceforge.net/), but
is probably a bit of a lame question too . . .

Following Mark H's suggestion, I've got myself a copy of Exact Audio Copy
(http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) and
am planning to use LAME as the encoder, but what do I have to do with LAME
? Do I just download it, stick it in a directory and point EAC to it ?

EAC say's I need to install LAME, the LAME site above offers me
"source files". I'm a bit new to this, so do I need to compile
anything ?

All suggestions greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Tim H.
