Ahh nuts.

Never mind, you all know the probable deal now? Any other comments.

Hi Tony

I could put the relay boards I make up there. Price could be a fiver off
per relay board. So, two relay boards would attract a tenner off but one
relay board and two LED indicator boards would only get a fiver off. What
do you think? The page is here currently -
http://www.mollyology.com/ForSale.htm

I don't make much on these so this is the best I can do. The person buying
should mention the UKHA discount as it will not be offered by default.

Thoughts?

Ian

Subject: [ukha d] Special Offers for UKHA members - got any?

Folks,

I have discussed with Mark and he is happy for me to host a list of
special
offers for the UKHA community, which could have a link at the bottom of
the
list messages and, if we want, a link on automatedhome.co.uk (bearing in
mind that non list members would see this too)

So......if you have some sort of [ongoing] offer specifically for UKHA
members that you would like me to place on a common web page then please
email them to ukhaoffers at freeranger.co.uk

I don't know yet whether this will just be one long list, or categorised
[Please specify a category with your submission in case we go with
categories] or what - depends on the numbers.

If there's only a couple of people then it's not worth getting fancy.
If we _assume_ there wlll be a number then I'm open to suggestions either
of
free software I could use to maintain list & allow it to be searched
etc,
and indeed just general ways to present it.
I would want it to be fair - so alphabetic listing (ossibly within
category)
might seem like a good idea except, of course, for web hosting where my
company would appear before most (starting with an 'a' as it does) so that
might seem a bit biased......

I dunno - thoughts anyone? Either on list (if the mods allow it) or
privately off list, and/or I could set up a temporary mailing list or
something if people wanted to discuss it there.....

The restrictions on this list are:
- It must be a special offer (doesn't have to be VERY special, just a
better
deal than normal)
- It must not be for a short time only - since I don't want to be updating
the list every 5 minutes
- It must not be for anything illegal(!)
- It must not be for web hosting, except for my listing.

It does NOT have to be HA related, since x-boxen and networks and all the
other things we discuss are not really HA.

Cheers,

Tony
PS: Just kidding about the hosting one - all hosters are welcome unless
their name is Ozan ;)
