Hmm..... tempting....

But I'm a tad reluctant to take a strangers money for the DLT's on account
of when I was using them at least one of them seemed to run *way* too hot,
and would be quite unreliable on restores... I attributed it at the time to
the way I had them mounted, which was one immediately above the other in a
tall tower case, without any extra ventilation added specifically for
them....

However, based on the possibility that it might not actually just have been
the installation that causing my problems, I don't want the support hassles
that would ensue if it turns out that at least one of the drives is in
fact,
faulty....

The "faulty" one would actually work fine for a while from cold,
but once it
had been running for a few hours, writes would seem to continue OK, (so the
drive would pass most user inspections to check that it was
"working"), but
reads from it were very unreliable with loads of read failures....
