Re: New UK Building Regs. Will Outlaw DIY Wiring



This is similiar to Aussie only licensed People can carry out electrical
work....Any work done on the mains / switchboard or main earthing requires
submission of electrical safety cert and also an inspection..Additional
power points lights etc electrical satety  cert must be submitted...DIY
electrical is not allowed even though large electrical / hardware suppliers
sell electrical accessories to the public.... Replacement of a contactor in
a panel a cert must be submitted...
